Ways to Support Iron Rams
Iron Rams serve many vital roles in supporting the wrestling program. Not only do Iron Rams support the program financially but they serve valuable roles in maintaining the culture and traditions of Southeast Polk wrestling. Listed are activities and contacts if you are interested in supporting Iron Rams:
SEP Wrestling History: This committee is responsible for cataloging memoribilia and collecting stories from friends, family, and alumni of the prorgam. If you have personal story you'd like to share or would like to assist with archiving SEP wrestling history, please contact Jason Owens at owensjason1@gmail.com
Red Owens Holiday Tournament: Iron Rams is dedicated to building the Red Owens Holiday Tournament into a marqee regional and national event. There are many important projects that require Iron Rams support, including:
- Recruiting teams
- Hospitality for visiting coaches and teams
- Tournament organization and staffing
- Obtaining sponsorships to defray costs
- Organizing an alumni event either before or after the tournament.
- Procuring supplies/trophies/etc.

Iron Rams plays a vital role is providing the best coaching, training and resources to our wrestlers. Southeast Polk wrestling has produced 2 State team championships, 19 top 8 team finishes, 16 individual state titles and 112 state placewinners. How has the program attained this success? OFFSEASON TRAINING and COMPETITION.
These activites are costly, however. One examples is the entry fees for freestyle Junion Nationals in Fargo, ND - it costs several hundred dollars to enter this prestigious event, and that does not account for food and lodging costs. The generous support and donations of our supporter help defray these costs and maximize the opportunites for our kids. One hundred percent of your contribution goes toward the support of SEP wrestlers, covering things such as off season coaching, equipment, transportation, food, lodging, and tournament entry fees.
Be part of it all. Help make our program legendary.
The Iron Rams is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations may be deducted from your income tax under IRS's IRC Section 170.
